I was looking at an AEM but i never thought about having to lose the plastic Hemi engine cap...does any one have a AEM bruteforce and if so did u have to toss out that engine cap?

ORIGINAL: sharpshooter

Im confused...There is so many different kits out there. Which one is the best, what are you guys using and what are your thoughts about them. This wont void my warranty will it?? Im looking at the K+N for the simple fact of knowing of the company. Is there another kit out there thats similar to this and cheaper. What can I expect out of a CAI, HP gains, any extra noise or what....
I have the K&N G-2 on my trucks and i am very happy with the K&N G-2 cai.
Iwould go with the K&N, But that is just me.

lol, thats a nice pic right there lol

i have an AEM brute force on mine and i love it, i had a K&N and it wasnt all i heard it was cracked up to be...if it was me i'd go with a True Flow or keep ur stock air intake, replace the tube between the filter and the hemi box with a straight tube and replace the paper filter with a foam filter from True Flow.....just my opinion

The AFE system I have does not get rid of the HEMI cap. Sorry about the pics but you should be able to get the idea.
