2007 REG. CAB / SHORT BED / 3.7L / AUTO TRANS / 3.93 REAR AXLE
I know thats not a lot, but it is still significant to me. Here is what I done: Somewhere on this forum someone mentioned he or she had removed the black intake tube on the bottom of ther air filter box & GAINED mpg. I removed mine, & the next tank av. was 17.8 mpg, so i put it back on. The next tank was back up to 18.4 mpg, so I took it back off. Shure enough, the next tank was back at 17.4 mpg, so,,,,,,once again,,,,,, I put it back on,,,,again. Filled up today ( $69.23 !!!!! *&%&%^ !!!!) and fuel milage was back up to 18.1 . I fill up at the same gas station, drive the same boring drive everyday the same way, and only passed 1 truck (a semi) out of the last 4 weeks. And that was yesterday.
Dont really know why I 'm posting this. Just thought SOMEONE might like to know that my results were a little different. -------lj
