I just bought an 04 Ram Hemi QCand my buddy just bought an 07 Tundra 4 Dr. After seeing that car upclose I have to say it is UGLY as crap. The interior is no where near as spacious as my ram and although it is a little more luxurious it gives the feeling of a sedan and god knows i will never drive a sedan or anything that feels that way.

He paid 28k for his truck and its the 4.6 engine. I have not raced him yet but can I take him?
It seems really slow specially for all that $. Oh and it has no leather or any special options.

You know - gotta give credit where credit is due. Toyota makes great vehicles, their quality is superb and their trucks are good. I dont know much about their new Tundra's but I used to drive a Tacoma and that truck went everywhere and did anything I needed it to do. The resale value on that truck was better than expected.
We also should know that when Toyota says it can tow 10k lbs, they are 2 wd and single cab. Their I-Force engines are awsome and have plenty of juice. These are good vehicles.

 

Lets not start on that Toyota deal. Its more an American built truck then our Dodges...

Hey I dont even drive a Ram, I drive an 06 Dakota, but I pop on ram here to help with Lifting questions sometimes.

This post caught my eye.

Don't take this as an assault on these manly machines but, isnt the Hemi in these boats kinda a dog anyway? Ive driven a few and dont rememeber being impressed to much. Theres 2 Dodges in my driveway, besides the truck we have a 05 SRT-4 making around an even 300hp. I dont know exactly whats been done to it, besides a few maxed credit cards by my roommate, but that thing is crazy. A few hemi rams always try racing this thing. LoL. I'll just stop there. Isnt an Acura MDX faster then the hemi ram? lol.

I know I'm gonna take heat for this, but I am simply just trying to put it in perspective for myself, because I really am not sure what the whole big thing is with the Hemi in these giant heavy trucks.

Hey I see everyone is saying the tundra is ugly, but, if two full size trucks were the closest look alikes on the front ent, it would be the new Tundra and the Ram. lol.

I love Dodge though, the ram is beautiful, I would consider one if I wasnt a poor college student, thats y I got the 06 Dakota.

 

as far as i know its std 2wd, 4hi and 4 low. Motortrend commented that they pulled off mid 6's but had to put the truck in 4wd to do it. I will check out a brochure i have and see what it says
