Default shifting problems

...Has anyone with a 2004 QC - SLT 4.7 - AUTOmatic experienced any low end shifting problems? Everymorning when I start off, I basically idle to end of the street. At 10-15 MPH when the doors lock, the rear ends sounds like it is "CLUNKING" into the next gear. Pretty severe too! New truck 10K miles.....Dealer hasn't taken a side yet.

No, haven't had that happen, sounds like the dealer should do something though.

How cold is it in your area? I read a factory bulletin that the 5spd automatic does not shift correctly when it's cold...although I live in So Cal. My tranny does shift a little slower when I first start out, but never a clunking into gear...I would have the dealer keep your truck over night and check it out...
