There are many different types of loctite products.

You just need a mild one, like the blue one. At worst, you just have to heat it a little to remove it.

It probably wasn't tightened enough or it needed some loctite or some thread fastener.

Or you can use a pair of safety wire spinners and add two loops and a twist on top of the nut around the threads to keep them from backing up.
Believe it or not I've actually seen LockTite break loose under heavy loads.

ive had exhaust pipes on my skis come off with red loctite on there. loctite on the headers...YOU ARE BRAVE. those bolts are already gona sieze to the aluminumn heads, i feal bad for the poor mechanic that has to get those off if they are ever needin to be removed

If you are good with a drill, drill a .040" hole betweentwo flats of the nut and a hole through the threaded stud and safety-wire it up that way with .032 safety-wire.

Did you use the Dodge bolts ? they have a locking type of nut thats tight on the threads, can't imagine how it lost it's nut ?
Just done a shack upgrade myself, used the genuine dodge bolts but just about to crawl under the truck and add a couple drops of locktite now.

I use locktite on everything i dont want coming off, header bolts, shock bolts, bumper bolts, anything.
