It's a good deal but unfortunately it wont work. You need the 3815 model. I got mine on ebay for $300.00 and that's a good deal considering it's hard to find them under $450.00. I just kept an eye on the auctions and got lucky to get mine at that price.

 

Ok thank you, I did a little research and found out the same thing, so with these thing, can a buddy just bring his over and program it and leave or does it have to remain hooked up to the vehicle?

 

welll... im assuming were talking about superchips here since 3815 was mentioned. It will vin lock to your truck, you can't put it on another truck until the original truck is set back to stock. I also got mine for 300 shipped off ebay.
