I must be one of the lucky ones ( for now ) as i didn't find a single problem with my 3.92 lsd'd rear ring and pinion. The PO must have changed the fluid or had it done as it was siliconed with the rtv red. Fluid came out clean as new so it may not have been done that long before i purchased it. I have owned it 18 mo now. Anyway, gonna let the rtv black set for about two hrs and pour in the new Royal Purple lube. Total cost for all parts, $35. Not bad since i was sure i was gonna have chunks of metal all over the place. Thanks for all the info getting passed around in here. It has helped me a lot.
