i sit here shocked and amazed! I took this as a gag thread. But now I am thinking this guy might be serious! Lets look at this from a money point of view, what will we need to turn a Geo into a race car;
Full tube chasis
9 in Ford rear with rear disc brakes
aftermarket rack and pinion,custom front suspension
custom engine mounts
custom trans mount
custom drive shaft
aftermarket front brakes
roll cage
aftermarket wireing harness
custom insturmentation
custom tuned engine computor
slicks/tires wheels
wheel tubs
wheelie bars
drag chute
custom seat
6 point harness
onboard fire supression system
NHRA certification
This is just the tip of the ice berg the little odds and ends will drive you crazy. You had best put an automotive engineer on retainer!!
I believe if it was me, I would be checking the National Dragster for a rolling chasis instead of entertaining fantasies of burning up the track in a Geo!
