Default 05 1500 4.7 spark plug gap

hey, I'm about to put plugs in my truck(30,000 miles). I got the original plugs from Dodge.
They don't come pre-gapped. The guy at the dealer told me to gap them at "about .048". The way
he said it, made it sound like a guess. I searched on here, where someone said .040.

Any body know(for sure) what the gap should be set at?

Thank you!
-Brian

0.48 " is wrongI think that it is 0.45" check on you emission sticker under your hood it will tell you. I have changed lots of plugs from dodge and they all come pre gapped.

I asked for the plugs that my truck came with. They are reg plugs, very inexpensive
about $30 for all 8

Chad was right about the gap being listed on the sticker under the hood.
It says gap is to be set at .040. Thank you!!!
