Ok, so I have a 2002 Ram 1500 QC. Ive been looking to get a hitch for it, but I have been seeing some that only fit trucks made after Nov 2002, and some that only fit trucks made before that date. Why is that? Did dodge redesign it that much that they arent interchangeable?

My truck was built Oct 2001. Can someone show me a hitch that WILL fit my truck? I am hoping to get an OEM one, or at least one that isnt a B*tch to install.

 

Sounds like you may need toconsult your dealership on that one. But, I would think that any truck built in Nov. 2002 would be considered a 2003 model.

You could just go to Uhaul. Buy it there and they will install it. This way you don't have to deal with the searching, buying, shipping and installing yourself with the worries that it might not fit. They come in black too, all you have to do is peel off the Uhaul label and it will look stock.

 

that's exactly what I did, and if you wanna get real picky, people sell Mopar stickers all the time..
