Default bully dog causing hesitation

my bully dog programmer caused my truck to act up severly after programing the first time. i used the premium tune. caused it to hesitate and jerk. shifts were very bad and occured at sparatic intervals. anyone have this issue. all i have on the truck performance wise is the exhaust, intake and spacer.
