comp 12's are pretty darn loud in a single cab truck especially when you back them with a 1600 watt punch amp. lol, a little excessive? nah.

I have never heard of comp 12's. Is there a brand of them? My son is getting a JL audio 10w6v2 with a JL 500.1 amp. And Eclipse door speakers, powered by a 400/4 kicker amp. Since I am going to be paying for his truck, I guess they count. Lol.

comp as in competition sorry. they are MA audio competition woofers. huge magnets. respectable sound, quality and price. http://cgi.ebay.com/New-MA-Audio-MA1...QQcmdZViewItem. so much bass i had to have my rear window resealed because it was seperated. i decided to turn it up a little with the windows up. Bad idea!. I love these speakers. they sound great.

just an aftermarket Pioneer deck....i use to have 2 15" DD subs in my truck and it got to the point where when it was turned up bout quarter way the windows on my house were shaking.....gettin to the pointwhere i kinda need my hearing lol

Right now I have a Kenwood Excelon in dash DVD with an Infinity 10" sub powered by a 600 watt MTX amp.The box just sits behind my sit,but it freakin' rocks!!!
Im in the market for some new speakers now.Im looking at either Polks or some Infinity's.These will be powered with a 4 channel amp.

When George Strait and John Andersonstop sounding good on my "grandpa" stock Infinity system I'll upgrade it. Until then I'll use that money to buy Avgas for my airboat. Blow, blow Seminole wind!!!!!!!
