Default Stock tires size opposed to aftermarket size

I am currently running the stock size tire (not exactly sure what size)on my truck but I am putting new tires on it today or tommorrow. Im putting a set of 35x13.50's on it and was curious as to how much this willthrow off my speedo and guages. If it will not totally jack my stuff up then Im gonna hold off till the diablo comes out and purchase that to reset for the upgraded tires, however if its a significant jump then Ill need to get the dealer torecalibrate...What do you guys think I need to do.....

I could be wrong but I dont think 35X13.50 will fit with out a lift. i have a 06 and am running 35X13.50x20 and thats pushing it with a lift. You ahave a 06 1500 2wd correct? It will change your speedo about 3-4MPH and I would say you are going to have to switch to a 4.56 gear. If you dont its gonna bog down. The Superchips let me change my tire size

If you are going that much bigger, I would have to say you should get your truck recalibrated. To get an exact diameter of your current tires, measure from the ground up through the centerline of the wheel. I don't know how much it would effect the performance of the vehicle (in terms of the computer and all that, I don't really think it would be anything) but your mileage and speedo will be off, by quite a bit too. Ask your tire shop if they could recalibrate it for you.

Input your stock tire size, then your aftermarket size and hit "Specs/Compare". Lather, rinse, repeat. Yeah, I'd recalibrate afterward also.

you'll never fit 35's on your 2wd without a lift. I had to lift the front end of my 4wd to fit a 35 on there. Is the backspacing on your rims different than stock? I know when i put up my buddys 35x12.5's on my truck they were real close to rubbing. I think a 13.5" wide tire might rub without some more backspacing

Yes I have a 2wd with 3.92's in it. I also have a 3 inch body lift and some 3 inch spindles. My front fender is sitting at 43in from the ground. I think it should fit...

You're cutting it close. I have 4" suspension lift and only 35x12.5's and it fits good, but I ain't got too much extra space under there. If you are at 3" of body lift and going 35x13.5's, it's gonna be REAL close!
