RAM 1500 Upgrade to Suspension
Hi, I've had my 2004 RAM 1500 from new here in the U.K. I am now considering uprating the suspension to improve the body roll on tight English corners. I am told that replacing the shocks with Bilsteins and fitting a torsion bar would be the best. Any comments? How easy is a torsion bar to fit? It has been many years since I worked on cars. I am out of practice. Sob! Sob!
Incidentally the vehicle runs as a dual-fual vehicle since I had it converted to run on L.P.G.
Thanks.
Tim

welcome to DF...
Bilstiens, engergy susupension swaybar bushings and new leaf spring bushings (urethane ones)... that should fix you right up. I put JUST the frame bushings on the swaybar and noticed a difference in the body roll. cant find the end link bushings yet and may not want them... would rather have quick disconnects on the ends.
