STEERING COLUMN
Hope some one has run across this problem. I have 2002 Ram extended cab with 4.7.
I got into the truck the other day and put the tilt steering down and there was a clunk and now the streeing wheel movesup and sown and sideways about a 1/2 inch all ways. The streering wheel still locks in place so I dont think it is the tilt lock. I have heard thru someone that this is common with trucks that have been in a accident because there is a plastic busshing in the top of the column the breaks because of the shock, but this truck has not been in this situation. Any info or help would be great!
Thanks
