Hey I am looking for any kind of insight on my little problem. I have2002 Dodge Ram 1500 QuadCab with the 4.7L in it and it has about 75XXX miles on it. Somewhere along the line I started getting low on oil. One week I checked it and it was 2 quarts low.The next week it was 1 quart low.I then took it to the dealer and they changed the oil and had me bring it back every 1000 miles to check it. It was fineup until a family trip toFlorida and it started with the problem again. I'll answer the obvious and say there is no smoke, no leak, no anything. There is absolutely no signs of the consumption other than being low on oil and after being on the road for awhile it shakes and idles weird once you've come to a stop. Can someone pointme in the right direction?
