Default What are the factory spec's for fuel pressure, coolant temp?

How is timing controlled, by a cam sensor or crank sensor? Who is making headers for a 4.7?

Thanks Stampede.

Not sure of the factory specs....But have you looked at JBA headers for your vehicle?????????????

Cam Sensor:
The signal from the CMP sensor is used in conjunction
with the crankshaft position sensor to differentiate
between fuel injection and spark events. It is also
used to synchronize the fuel injectors with their
respective cylinders.

Knock Sensor:
3.7L V-6 / 4.7L V-8 / 5.7L V-8 Engines Only
Two knock sensors are used; one for each cylinder
bank. When the knock sensor detects a knock in one
of the cylinders on the corresponding bank, it sends
an input signal to the Powertrain Control Module
(PCM). In response, the PCM retards ignition timing
for all cylinders by a scheduled amount.

Crank Sensor:
Engine speed and crankshaft position are provided
through the crankshaft position sensor. The sensor
generates pulses that are the input sent to the powertrain
control module (PCM). The PCM interprets
the sensor input to determine the crankshaft position.
The PCM then uses this position, along with
other inputs, to determine injector sequence and ignition
timing.

In a nutshell that's what controls timing, along with the PCM firmware.

FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE
58 psi +/- 2 PSI

COOLANT TEMP
195°F
