Yes I have storage. I have plenty of room to under the latch for it.
I made a U shape to slide the cb bracket into. I lined one side of the U with felt that way it holds it tight. I will take more pics.

Walcott CB's have the best selection. Since I have purchased my new antenna I have learned more about mounts from them. They have everything you need and are well trusted by the DF crowd. Wilson 1000, 6" whip w/ magnetic base. Excellent reception.

In my 2007 Dakota SLT 4X4, I want to take the center armrest assembly out from between the front seats and install a "radio-trough" between them. I looked under it with an LED flashlight and saw some bolts holding it to the seat assembly frame. Just need the right sized wrench.

i got a mag mount wilson antenna.. ran the coax through the top of the center brake light down under the roof linter and around the rear window.. very clean and looks great!
