Hey i have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.9 360 in it and yesterday it just seemed to go into a fail safe mode on the highway.. it was still running but shut off everything electrical and then it came back on.. all the gauges went off and then came back on. it did a weird kick thing before it did this. it was like the transmission was trying to shift a bunch of times or something. anyone have any clue what this could be?

 

anyone? im thinking its something electrical maybe a sensor or something... it just put itself in neutral it seemed like and i was idling till i put it in park and drive again after pulling into the shoulder on the highway
