Default 2004 Dodge Hemi Sport 4X4

I am looking at a 2004 Hemi Sport. It has approx. 70000 kms on it. Are these trucks dependable?? Honest answers please. I need to know the pros and cons before buying. Thanks inadvance.
I am in Canada and I also need to know the average price this should go for.

You should be fine, as long as maintanance has been up to par and is going to stay that way. It's an 04 in question, so the dealer improved(or so they say) valve springs should be on it. Only problem areas to potentially look for in the future may be any shortcomings witht the Orion trans or possibly a less common rear differential problem. Everything else is just little stuff that can happen to any car, any truck, any make, especially with age. Chrysler built these Hemis based on a rigorous test cycle with many variables of durabilty. They have a numerical overhall rating of 150,000, but that depends on service. It can ofcourse be much longer if proper care is taken. All and all, if all is wellnow, go for it.....if the price is right.

I bought an 03 Hemi sport larimie about 3 months ago with 31k miles on it for 16500 from a private owner and I absolutely love my truck and would not drive anything else. As soon as I got it, I did half of the 30k maint. and will finish the rest of it when I have the cash. Have not had one issue with it yet.

thanks for the advice but I ran away from the deal when I found out who the previous owner was. The truck was used in numerous truck pulls around the area and when I drove it, it felt sluggish and there was alot and I mean alot of surface rust around the hoodscoop and other areas. The dealer wanted $24,000 for it and wouldn't go any lower. My father-in-law is a mechanic and he said that there was roughly $6000 worth of repairs (including a paint job) to be done.

Also, its been 2 months since I drove it and it is still on the lot, hmm imagine that!!!!!
