Got another question....

When I bought the truck (used) the previous owner never bothered to clean inside the engine compartment. I was thinking of using engine brite (Gunk) to clean it all up. I do have some lines (fuel and other) with surface rust on them. Also have little rust on various spots around the engine. What can I use to take care of this? I was thinking of trying to get in there with some high heat paint - would this be okay? How can I keep it all clean and looking good?

 

Use the gunk on the engineand some POR 15 on the rust.

 

Could steam clean it... hear it works wonders...

 

the gunk engine cleaner will clean eveything up nice and the to finish it off get the CD-2 enginge detailer. This stuff is amazing!! It will make entire engine bay look like showroom new.

 

so you guys just spray that **** allover everything then blast it all down with a garden hose?

 

i use this stuff called Orange Blast or somethin like that...it's a degreaser and that stuff works on everything...i love it

 

bleachwhite works great too, (ya know the stuff that you use to clean tires with)
