Hey All,

Got a few new pics.....

I got sick of looking at the rusty, dirty engine, and started cleaning it up. It was sorely neglected before I purchased it (used). I'm gonna go get some engine brite, and some over rust as I was told in a previous post. I have started changing all of the old black convoluted tubing for some new blue stuff.
It's not really a mod, but I'm looking for ways to make this tired 2003 look a little better.

I also pickedup some Mr. Gasket braided hose covers, but I havent put them on cause I can't figure out how to get the clamp cover to stay on. I guess they just go over the hose clamps, but they won't stay on by themselves. Here's the pics....

Should I keep going with the blue convolute?

Any other suggestions on how I can make it look fresh?

What are the better ways to clean up under the the hood? I'd like to hose the crap out... but doni't wanna fry anything....any suggestions?

 

i was wonderin that too .. i went muddin a few times ad my engine is still covered in mud, i have a pressure washer but i do'nt wanna screw anything up, is there anything i shold like cover up or anything or cold i just wash it all??? i had a buddy who said he used to work at a dealer cleanin and detailing . he said they just pressure washed them get out whatever is left on there, and mist clear coat on top of the engine and it looked brand new pretty much.. any other tips??
