Rear Diff groaning/moaning
Lately I noticed that I have a wierd noise coming from the rear of my truck. I only hear it when I am backing up and turning the wheel. When I back up straight, I hear nothing. The noise sounds like someone is groaning. I changed the fluid in my diff and nothing changed. Any ideas? I have a feeling it has to do something with limited slip. Any help would be appreciated!
I know the LSD C-clip is a very common issue. Are you under warranty by any chance? If not, i'd go ahead and do a fluid change so you can rip the cover off and look for any visible damage inside.

Did you add Limted slip fluid.
It could be a wheel bearing going out if it only doning this when making a turn.
Do you have summer air in you tires ?.

hmmm...sounds like a carrier bearing or axle bearing....i'd rebuild the rearend and throw in an Auburn LSD with a set of 4.10 or 4.56 gears lol...dont forget all new bearings & seals, along with a Mag-Hytech diff cover to hold more fluid and keep the rearend cooler
