well the thing with the trueflow is the air going into your engine is gonna be cleaner compared to the other CAI's on the market.....but for as decent as the other CAI's filter compared to the trueflow, i think you would have to drive the truck ALOT to make up the difference, but i dont really know....if it was me and I had to buy another one and I was gonna keep my truck a long time and drive it every day...then i'd go with a TrueFlow....but if i had to buy one for a truck i was only gonna drive during the spring/summer/fall or somethin like that..then i'd buy a different one (like an AEM, k&n, or something like that)

yeah thats gonna be hard data to find....most people prolly go with the k&n cause it's been around for awhile and you can get the damn things everywhere and i think their fairly cheap (maybe?) compared to other brands....i've never liked k&n just for that simple fact, everyone seems to have one, and i wanted to do somthing different....i'm extremely happy with my CAI and would not have gone a different route, i bought mine on ebay and was able to get it for about $150 less then what they sell new and i think new they are like $325 or something....as far as performance wise...it's hard to say cause I have other mods that attribute fuel mileage and also take away...but cruising down the highway (75 mph) i get about 19 mpg, in town around 13-14...0-60 times...according to this thing i got suctioned to the windshield my 0-60 time was 7.9 sec..but who knows how accurate that is......

just do some research, and make a decision based primarily on what YOU want and also factor in other peoples opinions..but dont buy something based solely on their opinions....good luck man

I dont know much about trueflow, but I wouldnt go w/ K&N due to my experience on this truck and on atv's. The 2nd day I had my truck (bought it used) it popped 2 codes for sensors. As soon as I took the intake and off I saw why, the intake charge sensor and throttle body were coated in oil. A K&N oiled RIGHT should not do this but id go w/ a dry filter just to make sure.
