Default first problem with my dodge

04 1500 QC with HEMI. today was going on the freeway and speedometer stop working, engine light went on, as well as ABS and Break light any ideas why. need more info just ask. thx

check codes and repost...possibly the speed sensor on the rear diff....

go to advance auto or some place like that and have them check the codes for you....theres suppose to be a way to do it yourself but i dont remember how

I bet the speed sensor in the rear end went south.

check your key , in the ignition didnt actually get hit by your knee or something...

ok just got back from AutoZone and looks like it is a speed sensor code P0501
anyone have an EST. $$$

go to the dealer tomorrow and buy a new sensor....it's one bolt (13mm i believe) holding it in...takes all of about 2 min to replace

the brake and ABS light probably means that your low on brake fluid, check that first, not sure about the speedo .. all my guages stopped working at one point and i had to have the instrument panel replaced becasue the wires in the back of it were fried . that was a pretty $800 down the drain .. so check your wires too

i was just wondering if you ever fixed the problem with your speedo and everything....my car is doing the same thing so i was just wondering how it got fixed
