Ordered a set of these today:


Anybody ever install a set? Any leak issues?

Oops! I didn't notice the thread started re: the same thing just yesterday, my bad...

 

They look good. What brand are they? Where did you get them from?

 

Recon's, I found them online for $69.99 & stopped in to the local Truck Accessory shop in town, they gave me a price of $89.99, so I told them the price I found so they came down to $75 plus tax and could have them in the morning. So I told them to get them, I am off today & tomorrow, so I figured instead of ordering and waiting a week, I could have them tomorrow and have something to do since it's WAY to hot to play golf on my day off.

Now let's see if I can drill holes in the roof and not have them leak...

Haha must be nice to have hot weather, its rained so much here lately we have severe flooding. But anyway good choice going with the local shop, and if you have the time and patience a DIY would be wonderful!

 

If I don't get to take pics, I'll at least submit a step by step tomorrow night.

 

yeah i kinda helped a buddy of mine put some on his dak.....i say kinda cause me and him sat there on the tailgate drinkin while his lil brother did it lol...but we kinda helped and they actually didnt leak lol

 

it may be illeagle to show any thing but amber forward. i knows this is so on big trucks.

 

In MN amber, clear and smoked are legal...Any other colors are illegal though....

 

same in iowa...michigan however is a totally different story
