Gotta Gibson Dual Extreme 2 weeks ago from AutoAnything for $380 and ended up paying Meineke $120 to put it in and 70 to weld it all up.

I've got you ALL, beat. I spent $3000 for my custom exhaust...installed. That was for headers, custom-split exhaust, high-flow cats, mufflers, and chrome tips. Royal muffler, in Chatsworth, Ca.. I'm feeling violated, right now.

Had mine (cats back) custom bent (mendrel) at a muffler shop and let them do everything but the tips. Muffler is a 100% clone of the Flowmaster 50 ( they had cutaways of both, this was identical, inside & out and less then half the price). Paid $202 out the door and bought my own 18" stainless tips and welded them on in the driveway. Had to cut pipes back a little as I guess 18" tips are probably a little longer than standard. Only problem I've had in 3 years is ALL the hangers rusted out, when the first one broke completely,I cut them all off and welded galvanized flat stock in their places.
The sound is fantastic, especially after adding the CAI. I can't wait to hear what the LT Headers do to it!!!

I paid $40 for my super 40 and $10 for shipping. Installation I would have paid $50 to get the old muffler removed, the rear resonator and to install the new muffler but I did not remove my rear resonator at that time and I had to fork out another $40 to remove the rear resonator the following day. I was afraid the sound would have been too loud without the resonator so I left it on but after driving it home I knew I could safely remove the rear resonator and it not be too loud. All told I forked out $150everything however I amgoing to have my front resonator removed soon and that will be another$50.
