Any of you guys used or use the Bushwacker Bed & Tailgate Rails? They seem to be one of the better ones that do not warp, however, since my bed liner is factory, I have a slight lip thats there now on the tailgate and not sure how to install the tailgate rail without cutting off some of the overlap on the existing tailgate liner. Any ideas? Over the existing? under the eexisting? The Bushwacker rails seem to come over the sides more then other caps, and I liked that for the protection reason.

Just picked up this 05 sport last week. My first RAM. I had asked a bunch of you about the rust under it, and everyone was cool. All the RAMS up here in northern NJ had the rust problem it seems, so I lived with it. Had to do a dealer thing since I had a trade in and needed a partial loan, or else I would have bought from someone on here in a southern state!. Glad to be a part of this forum. Im big into the guitar / music sceene but first for a truck forum....

If not Bushwacker, has anyone installed any tailgate cap over or under the existing factory cap that is1 piece with the talgate portion of the bed liner?

 

I've got the Bushwacker bed rails. Love 'em!! Got the Black Diamond Plate design.

 

What did you do for the tailgate? Did you have the factory piece you had to modify to make the Bushwacker tail piece work?
