Ok I was trying to check and see if I had LSD and I checked the sticker in the glove box and I couldn't find it does anyone know of any other way to find out.

 

Powerbrake and see if one wheel spins or Both! J/K You should be able to look in the glove box and see a sticker. I will do it myself to show you what it looks like. another option... Jack up the rear of the truck so that both tires are off the ground. Put the transmission in neutral and spin one of the tires by hand. If the other tire spins in the same direction, you have aLSD rear. If the other tire spins in the opposite direction, you have an open rear end. Other than that yo ucan go to a dodge dealer and have them run a VIN check and they can tell you EVERYTHING that was on that truck stock. They can tell you if you have an LSD or not.

there should be a tag on the axel also. It should say your gear ratio, and if you have the lsd is will be stamped right after the ratio...

 

I looked on mine and i didn't see any stamping and i know i have the 3.92 LSD... maybe i overlooked it

 

Since, apparently LSD stands for "Likely to Self Destruct" you'll find out sooner or later if you really have it.....

It is a VERY tricky process..... You see I had to FLY to Cali and get Mr. Governor (Arnold) to come to mywork and carry my WHOLE truck to the office... once their we had to take down the office back wall so he could position it JUST right to get it to lay flat on the glass.... then I scanned it into my computer for future reference..... Honestly I used a digital camera but I don’t have my software at the office here so I used the inkjet printer to print right from the card, then I faxed it to my email and then cut the image in Fireworks. Uploaded the image t the company server and linked it into the forum.... LOL.... What I wouldn't do for people I’ve never met in my life! No none of the computer's at work have Memory stick slots... just the printer... that's it.... had to improvise! That and I'm completely bored today.... It is a slow day today...

 

If you hear colors and see sounds then you probably had LSD...

Get 3 QT's of gear oil with the "posi" aditive and a small tube of RTV. Open and drain the rear and look. If it's a LSD then check the clip that supposadly causes the self destruct and refill. If it's open, the LSD additive won't hurt.

 

I just can't wait for mine tofall apart.I wishthey would do a recall or something..
