So i brought my truck into service this morning because every time i went over any size bump i could hear a weird sound...went under my truck and saw something was leaking but i didn't know what....so had them check it out....apparently my tie rod was about to fall off on the right side also my front right drive shaft seal was broken....and they told me i had a lot of wear on certain parts because i was turning my wheel to hard......the only thing that is covered by the warranty is the drive shaft seal....i'm at 79 000 km so i'm gonna have to pay for the tie rod and i need a front break job..pads and rotors....i'm just peaved because my truck is only a year old and i dont feel like i should be responsible for the tie rod at all

 

well sorry to hear about your luck, but if your over the basic warranty then aint much they can do about it really....it's not a powertrain warranty item so your pretty much on your own....it'd be much cheaper to buy the part and do it yourself as opposed to having the dealership doing it...same with the pads & rotors
