Protection between tailgate and bed?
Has anyone found a piece that would fit between the bed and talgate, when down, to prevent stones / dirt falling between and denting / scratching up the paint there? Maybe something like a temp plastic piece to use when the tailage is down. Just wondering, im scratching mine up a bit with hauling stones and rocks.

Here you go: http://www.cabelas.com/prod-1/0038409522051a.shtml, you'll just have to search for one for Dodge.

PERFECT, thanks! Just didnt know what to call the darn thing. I can find them for Ford on the net, but nothing for Dodge. I will keep looking, thanks for the lead. This forum is great, glad to be a part of it.
i wanted something like this too. when i saw this i thought great. opened the package and returned it immediately. why? it has peel and stick strips to hold it in place. once you stick it on you're never gonna be able to remove your tailgate. i thought of just leaving the one end loose(not stick it to the bed), but i thought it might start binding up or cause wear problems. also, hated this too, it was three pieces.
Try here as this says there's no trouble removing tailgate.

P.S. There would be no problem removing the tailgate. The GS adheres to the bed side and the free end either rides up the taligate when closed or can be tucked down in the gap out of the way of other uses and acts as a tailgate seal.
you have to be an authorized vendor on here to advertise your product, but it's definitely a cool product! Good luck with your new company!

Sorry about that. As mentioned, we're noobies at this and reaching out for feedback. How do we become an "authorized vendor"? Just one great product out now, but a few others in the pipeline to be out later this year I'm sure fellow truck owners on this forum are going to love.
When I haul loose materials, I almost always throw a tarp in the bed prior to having the front loader drop the stuff in.... After that its easy to clean up the entire bed once you're done shoveling the easiest parts out.... just lift up the sides of the tarp to transfer the loose stuff to the center and drag it out.
