My freind is selling me a 500 dollar deck for 100 bucks so I cant say no. I have the Infinity system in my truck and wanted to know is a new deck going to screw up the sound of it since the infinity system has its own amp and stuff or does the wirring haarness that i need to purchace make the new deck able to controll all that stuff? Thanks for the info.

 

Also does anyone have any compantes with the gibson exhust that comes out the side of the truck? Does it loose gain or remain the same amout of horse power?

 

It shouldn't screw up your sound at all, just improve it with anything. I didnt get infinity sound system with this truck but in my old truck i had to bypass the factory amp when i hooked up an aftermarket deck...

As for the gibson, don't know much about it but havent heard any complaints....

 

there isnt a way to hook the new deck to the infinity speakers, and if memory serves you cant hook direct either. They should be 2 ohm drivers, which the deck wont beable to work with. You best bet there is to go aftermarket speakers. They will sounds better than the factory, infinity included. As for the exhaust, you can check summit or jegs for it. As for power, it will increase, maybe not as well as some but still better over stock. hope this helps you.

I just put a Gibson Dual Side Exit on my truck Monday and it gained HP. Not nearly as loud as a Magnaflow or a Flowmaster though but I'm happy with it
