I have a 2003 3500 RegularCab DuallyHD 5.9L Cummins with a 11.5" Rearend and a 47RE trans how do i tell wich size rearend gear ratio i have so i can tell my towing capasity i have a 28ft 5th wheel that has a gvw of 7800lbs and i am thinking of getting a toy hauler 5th wheel

 

look at the sticker inside the glove box

 

how do i tell from that sticker

 

you can do what I did and email crysler requesting a build sheet on your truck. They will go off of your VIN number and tell you everything that came factory on your truck, gears and all. Great info

 

Glove box sticker is quickest way to find your gear ratio but you may also want to get your complete build sheet from DC. Send email with your VIN to customerassist@daimlerchrysler.com and they'll send it to you. Takes them a few days but you'll get it.

 

Thanks to everyone for there help i found it on the glove box sticker plus i sent away to chrysler also for the sheet i have the 4:10 rearend
