Cupholder won't stay closed
I'm sure this has been discussed before but I searched and couldn't find anything. My 2004 Ram 1500 has the hide away cupholders but they won't stay hidden. Sometimes if I'm lucky I can get it to stay closed but one good bump and it comes open. Is there anything I need to look at to get this fixed or aftermarket parts that work better?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Using the link posted as a guide, I removed the ACM cover and the center of the dash (part that goes around radio) and loosened the two screws that are at the top of the cupholder assembly. With slight pressure I pushed down on the cupholder assembly and tightened the screws which tightened the latching mechanism hopefully resolving the issue. It's only slightly tighter than it was but it should be enough to keep it closed. I hope...
Thanks.

Ironic, as I NEVER close mine....
