My muffler is a Ravin, a 100% Flowmaster clone. Supposedly, when I got my truck three years ago, Flowmaster had a contract with Meineke, so this company in Cali, made a clone and sold them to Midas. Midas had cutaways of both when I went in there, and sure enough, they were identical, even the gauge of the steel was the same. Meineke quoted me almost $500 for cat back using the Flowmaster! Since I have been welding since I was about 11, I inquired if they'd sell me everything cheaper and I'd install myself, but they refused.
Anyways, I went to Midas and asked if they would. Manager dude said it would be difficult as they mendrel bent the tubing right there as they do the job (measure, cut, bend, etc.) but said he could give me a price so good using that clone, that it would not be cost effective to do it myself.
Was $202 out the door! Very good job, GREAT SOUND. Only negatives at all in 3 years were that the hangers all rusted out and when the 1st one broke, I picked up some galvanized flat stock and re-did them all. Everything else (muffler, pipes, etc.) still in great shape.
Also, after I got my lift, you could see where the pipes met the tips, so I cut the short tips off, cut the pipe back and welded on some 18"stainless tips.
Moral to my long winded story is - if you shop, you can still get a decent job fairly cheap in FL.
BTW - Ravin exhaust is no more, website gone, phone disconnected - I think flowmaster found them out!! Just in case any of you guys were gonna go lookin' for one.

I was quoted anywhere from $450 to $550 in West Palm. So I got a flowmaster Super 44 off of ebay for $75 and had an exhaust shop weld it in with some turndown tips for $100 parts/labor.
So, for $175, I got a kick ***, loud, and aggressive sounding exhaust. I love it.
...and down the road, I can find some tips I really like, and just have the shop bend up some pipe and weld on the tips for a finished cat-back system.
