AND THE ANSWER IS>>>>>>>>>>>> >> "CRACKED CYLINDER HEAD"
And the service Manager is telling me that it is my responsability $2500
I'm sorry but I think it's real ironic that it's#7 Cylinder (AGAIN) Does anybody else find that a little curious too?

RE: P0307 Cyl. # 7 misfire problem
That sucks. I know most shops warranty their work for 12,000 miles or 1 year. You went 13,000. That manager is a CRACKED head. I would check all the other stuff that was mentioned here. The gap, I dont know, I tell you I did my sparks on Sunday and the NGK OEM that were in there had a gap of .050 to .055 when they should have been .040. So I dont know how gap can raise it. A bad connection, a bad plug. I know HEMIs use 2 plugs per head. It could be one is bad or both, but do you feel like you have less power, or the same?

RE: P0307 Cyl. # 7 misfire problem
The Engine is shaking.... I don't doubt that the cylinder is cracked, but I brought this problem in with 67,000 of a 70,000 warranty on it and I feel they put a bandaid on it till my warranty expired & now it's my problem. The Mgr. told me that if it were the same problem I would've been back in a week. I think it wasa small crack and just got worse.

RE: P0307 Cyl. # 7 misfire problem
What test do they do to determine that it's cracked? My '03 4.7 has been throwing p0302 for about 5000 miles now, and I've put in new plugs, and moved coils around to see if that's what was the cause. I've reset the PCM as well and it eventually comes back.
