Default Bully Dog Power Pup!

Ok i have a 2003 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 liter hemi. I just purchased the power pup programer and cannot adjust the speed limiter. Has anyone had this problem or know what i should do?

did you update it before you installed it? you may have an older version of the software installed on your programer. My programer worked great after i had my pcm reflashed with the hesitation tsb flash. If your pcm has not been updated for this and you have an 05 or earlier you may expierience a hesitation problem and what seems like the transmission acting up when you install it. I was able to adjust my speed limiter with no problem. I have a link to 3 vids on my profile of my truck in action with the bully dog programer installed.

fyi. make sure you return your vehicle to the stock (factory) tune before updating your programer. I have read horror stories on here of people that did not and when they updated the programer it set the old tune as the stock tune and screwed up there pcm. This can be costly and embarrising when you have to have the dealership recover your pcm and restore the factory settings. Not to mention it can void your extended warranty if you have one.
