he claims this is a stock hemi 5.7's performance. i call b.s. on him. i too own a 5.7 and i know they dont run like this from the factory. sounds to me like he altered the video judging by the sound of the motor. anybody else care to comment? I know the 20's are a little heavier on my truck, but im sure even with the 17's when it was stock it wouldnt have ran like that. 0-60 in 6 flat. something seems fishy. somebody is trying to manufacture his truck some ***** with a little computer magic.

I tend to not take things so literal that I view on you-tube. You're missing about 237 factors to make a decision based soley on that video....

I can get better acceleration then that, in my wife's Jeep Liberty, if I filmedmy 0-60 pass, driving downhill....

Its not stock. You can tell from the sound that its not stock.

 

it sounds to me like he altered the speed of the clip. maybe it run faster some how. sounds high pitched for a hemi.

 

It sounds like it's got a turbo on it with the wastegate venting to atmosphere. I think it's slow for a turbo if that's what it has. In anycase, I don't see in the title where it says it is stock. Do other searches on turbo's and you'll find a lot sound like that.

 

Most stuff on YouTube is BS. He is probably sitting on a hoist.
