Every day I'm on here, and half the time the pages won't load, or they load at slower speeds than dial up. I log on from work, home, other places, and I see the same thing. No other pages load this slow. Whats the deal?

 

I hear you on that one. I have DSL and this site is the only one that loads slow. I just live with it and try not to open every post, just one's that really interest me. Red

 

You guys wouldn't beleive the bandwidth and server requirements for an online forum. As it gains in popularity the demands increase almost daily. You could say it's the price of success.

The only way to combat the speed issue is to keep upgrading as the site grows. This costs money!

 

Don't have much of problem here. Sometimes, the avatars will load slow but everything else pops up real quick. I have cable and one of the only people in the area with cable, there is not much sharing of the speed.

 

i have cable and i never have a problem and it loads instantiously!

 

DSL at work..slow enough to time out.

Cable at home...fast enough to use.

 

I have the lowest tier out of three for cable and it loads okay.
