lift kit
The Hawk man is correct, you can fit 35's with as little as a 2" leveling kit. I have some farmland in Ga.& I alsodo a good bit of hard off-roading up there with friends, so I opted for a 4" suspension kit for my truck. A good suspension lift will give you better handling and overall performance off road than a level or body lift (and a body lift is usually a uniform lift, meaning the truck is still nose down).
So if you are simply just wanting to fit 35's, the key kit is all you need. If you are looking for better than stock performance off road, then look into a suspension lift. The only down side is that it is considerably more expensive. I have a Rancho 4" lift and I love it. After having about half a dozen trucks with body lifts, this is the first time I used a suspension lift and I must say, I'd never go back to body lifts again. I thought that getting bounced all around the cab was part of off-roading with a lifted truck, but not so with a suspension lift.
Also, I wouldn't go any higher than 4"-5"of lift as 35" tires is as big as I'd go on that truck. 37" and larger is just asking for trouble on an IFS truck as you'll start breaking front end components with just moderate off road use. For anything bigger than 35's, I'm a strong believer that you need a solid front axle.
