Default Headlamp HID or No?

Greetings all,

I recently went to the Halo LED Headlamp upgrades on my '02 QC. They came with crap for bulbs, and I have been searching all over Google for anything on what type of bulbs came in my setup. The body shop installed my headlamps therefore I never received any paperwork on my headlamp assembly. So far, I have only found that it might have a H1/9005 combo for projection/brights. I am obsessing with the hyper blue lights everywhere on the road and I honestly love the Halo look on my truck (see pics). I've checked into Nokya Stage II hyper white but I would rather go with the 10000k lights. (I believe that is the Kelvin for the blue I desire.)

So I guess my questions would include, but not limit to:

1.) What bulbs are in my Halo Headlamps, H1/9005? (It's a pain to take out the entire assembly so I haven't yet done so.)

2.) Do I have to go HID to get the blue I'm looking for?
-Anyone think there is an easy fix/upgrade to HID if saying I have to go HID for my Halo Headlamps?
-Is there an HID Upgrade for my Halo Headlamps?

3.) For grins, to do my fogs in the blue, would they have to go to HID?
-Where can I find the right items for both my fogs and headlamps?

I greatly appreciate any info contributed towards this thread and FORGIVE ME if I have offended anyone with the ignorance over here.

Oh and feel free to let me know what you think of my pride and joy... (More upgrades soon to come, waiting on that Firefighter Salary to kick in!)

Thanks all!

If you think you hate the bulbs the projector lenses came with, just wait till you turn on those 10k HIDs for the first time. Oh, sure, people will stare at your "cool" ride -- although I don't know why, because HIDs have been on vehicles since the 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII so after 12 years, why are they still considered bling?

Anyway, 10k is so blue it won't put squat for light on the road. It'll be the worst headlights you've ever owned.

You have to decide whether you want headlights for people to look at or headlights for you to see with. 5 or 6k is super white and excellent illumination. Any higher and you'll have only Smurf Vision.

Alright with that said, any suggestions on bright lights? I've tried the Silverstars, wasn't impressed at all, matter of fact I was pissed. I want white or blue-ish appearance. If I have to have the so called "Smurf-vision" then I will accept that fact.

Suggestions on items anyone???

To me anything blueish is ghetto, but thats my taste. Between 4000 and 6000 is nice.

Also, make sure your projector casing can handle HID's. Some cases can melt because they are cheap plastic.
