Default ATLANTA AND CAMS

Anyone in the atlanta area know how or where i can get a cam installed at a reasonable price. I would really like to try and do it myself, but im pretty scared to go that route. Any info on what a good setup would be and what i need to purchase would be appreciated.

I have an 06 qcsb hemi....cai, bullydog programmer, and flowmaster 40

thanks

I'd like to have a cam but I don't think I'm up to the task of installing it myself. With that and some headers, and perhaps a different torque converter, I'd be pretty happy[8D]

I like the way these guys upgraded the springs as well as the cam, all without having to open up the engine to any large degree. I didn't know you could do the springs without disassembly. I knew the cam was a relatively easy process but I'm glad to see the whole package is doable without taking the engine down.

go to sears and you can buy the valve spring compressor like they use in that link and then all you gotta do is get the spark plug adaptor and your in business....

replacing the springs is pretty much a gimme...these stock springs are pretty weak and when ya change the cam then your just pretty much asking for it to fail at some point...so upgrading to new beehive springs is always a good idea
