The window on my 03 came off of the tracks the other day (power windows), has anyone had this happen and sucessfully fixed it?I popped it back in and worked the window up and down for five or so minutes but it came out again the next day.

 

ive never had that happen... i would guess that you would take off the door pannel and see whats causing the problem....

 

yea, i took the door panel off when it happened and it seens the glue that holds the window in has failed.

 

the glass came out of the clip that raises and lowers it? your best bet is to scuff up the area on the glass that the clip slides on, use http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...glVFTJX7KG5Gblprimer on that area, then use http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3...beWWR6DCKBSPglurethane in the clip, slide the glass back on, raise the window till it's in the correct position while closed and let it dry for 24 hours.

btw, doesn't have to be 3m primer, any auto glass urethane and primer will do.
