Here's something else I noticed when I changed my exhaust system to a Gibson Super Truck.
The new Hemi engine will drop four cylinders if the power is not needed to improve fuel economy.
This is usually seamless and not noticable with the stock very quiet muffler and resonator but, with the
Gibson or any other low restriction exhaust systemyou can tell when it does it's thing by the change
in the exhaust note. This is with the trans on overdrive. If you kick it out of OD it doesn't do it.
I'm still "trickin my truck" so a grille insert is next and maybe some fender flares. Kinda like a woman buying a dress. Ya gotta accessorize!

yeah the MDS is pretty much a pain in the ***.....I have a meeting scheduled with the head of the Global Sales & Service on Friday to talk to him about being able to add a option to the scan tool to disable the MDS function....should be interesting lol

Yeah but hearing the MDS kick on the only people who actually hear it are those inside the truck. It's not like anyone outside of your truck can hear this when it happens.

i've never heard it from outside.. maybe i'll have a friend drive by so i can hear it.. i've always thought it sounded like crap, so im always tappin the gas a little harder when i pass people so it kicks outa MDS.
