I had my 2005 Ram i added lights to the cupholders. I seem to remember wiring into either the radio illumination, or the cig lighter. They also adjusted in brightness with the rest of the dash lights.

I now have an 07 and would like to add the same modification. However, i cant find the information i need to make this mod. Can somone please direct me in the right path or link me to the thread on this.

I prefer to wire into the heat/ac controls or the cig lighter vs. the radio. Thanks in advance!

 

My 2006 came with the light group which included lights for the cupholders (although not very bright). Maybe the wiring is already there?

 

I'm not sure if its the same as the 02-05 models, but go into the DIY section at the top of the page. I did a write up on these led lights, you can see if it looks like its the same as your truck...
