2004 1500 v6 to v10 swap
I've come accross a 99 v10 drop out that I can't pass up. I am getting the wiring harness and computer with the motor. Has anyone ever taken the jump from v6 to v10?
I know I'll have to replace the front springs to accomidate the extra weight of the engine, different transmition.
Any other big mod's have to be done to make this swap?
Thanks
Ryan

You better off not doing it in the long run unless this is just a toy for you that you only drive once a month the headachs are not worth it for a every day driver that you need to reley every day you giong to find a lot of bugs it takes time to find and fix them to get it right.
A lot of hidden cost also I hope you have deep pockets you will need them.
Oh yea We have a 2001 Dodge 3/4 ton V-10 2WD Q-Cab truck and yes I know what I am talking about it pulls our Rv at 10 MPG empty 4 to5 MPG when pulling.
