I bought the ST version which does not have cruise control. I have looked extensively online for the kit and only have found a few on ebay but they don't list the Mopar part number so I can't cross-reference that with the Mopar website.

I called the dealer and he stated there is not a part number for the kit so "they must have changed something in 07". He doesn't think the 06 kit would be a good idea...

Help I have a long trip (1300 miles) planned soon and wanted cruise control!!!!

The steering wheel does not have the controls and it would need the flat pads that go on the piller, NOT the half moon shaped ones...

 

would appreciate any dealer personnel input on this...

 

I have an 07 1500 and the buttons look identical as the ones on my 05 1500..... I'm not sure what could have changed otherwise.....Worse comes to worse.... Bring a brick or a stick with ya.... and just drop it on the pedal and away ya go......

 

I thought the same thing about fog lights too... but evidently they are now computer controlled. I need official parts unfortunately due to the lifetime powertrain warranty, as i have said before this is the only con about it is that i feel i can't perform any modifications of the drivetrain - or else...

 

I will look tomorrow about the cruise control, but use part # 82209047 for the fog lights. These will work on 2007's but the dealer has to use the diag tool to "tell" the truck that it has fog lights. On some 2007's when I installed fog lights they worked without "telling" the truck but they would stay on even if the headlights were on bright and we are not supposed to let the truck leave that way...BTW the dealer might tell you that the above part # for fogsis not listed for 2007's but they will work. I have done this install many times
