Where is the fuel filter located on a 2005 Ram 1500?

 

In the tank, it is supposed to be something like 100,000 mile replacement or something crazy like that.

You can dowload the 3000+ page Dodge maintenance manual at hemi truck club . com( no spaces), it is on the left side menu towards the bottom.

 

it's a life long filter, pretty much non-serviceable unless you replace the pump...one is on top of the pump and the other is in the tank on the pump lol....pretty sure thats where the two of em are...can't remember exact locations right at the moment

3 dodge trucks with this setup and 2 other that friends owned.. ALL I MEAN ALL had to be replaced about 65k.. do not know if this is normal but have a prety good history...
