I am fortunate to not be married yet but I can not lie to my girl friend about what I am doing to my truck like you can Chefred, she grew up in a gear head family so she knows alot about cars. She even gaps my spark plugs for me because I hate too

Hi everyone. . my name is Andy and i'm a modaholic. (pause). I'm kind of a newbie at all this but I'm an addict. Some parts people suggest to upgrade I don't know exactly what they're talking about - but I will soon cause I just have to know and get more. Mod-ing has affected my life - my now "ex" girlfriend hated how much more money I spent on my truck than I did her (haha thats the truth). I had to get that Superchips programmer though. It all started when I got my 2004 Black Dodge Ram 5.7L Hemi (hoo-rah men). I absolutely love my truck and don't think there's a better one out there.My 1st mod was a CAI which completely just made me rip up every street for the first few weeks to couple months. Until I got used to it. . . haha which made me then go in for an exhaust system. So the list keeps going and i'm just really looking to get more and more and more for my truck with the money I have available. I plan to go a long ways with my truck. I've done basic mods that I think many have already done. I'm looking to get either a carpet bed-liner for my truck / kick *** subs that fit underneath the rear seat of my quad cab / and more performance mods.

I find this a funny post. So I had to just share my story. My ex-girlfriend, when dating knew I absolutely loved my truck. Joked about me selling my truck and all that. And when I was in the process of researching the Superchips flashpaq tuner - she says "before you buy that you have to take me on a trip". I was like "o.k." just to get over the hassle of listening to her continuous say that. And well . . . I haven't gone a trip with her and here I am with my superchips! hahaha.

 

I'm a recovering modaholic.

I spent about half the price of truck on mods, no more. I'll never get it or even a good part of it back.

 

You really don't have much more to buy though. 450 rwhp is a pretty good stopping point.

Hello, my name is Brandon and I'm a modaholic, well, not fully. See, it all started almost a year ago when i got my '05 1500 QC 4.7. I've only added window vents and Bully nerf bars to it so far, but, when I get asked the question "How much did that cost" i see bright colors flash befor my eyes and befor i know it I'm blurting out something stupid lik $50!!!! Like just the other day I'm online looking for new tires (NEED new tires new since I turned up the torsion bars) and I say hey hun, look at these, and she says "how much are they" My reply was "one digit more than what I just spent on your tires ($63/ea)" Only thing was I didnt tell her it was $163/ea! I've got my next 6 months of paychecks planned out as far as CIA, TB spacers, Exhausts...ect ect and the list keeps going. Like I tell myself I'm 33, I dont need 2-10" subwoofers under the back seat, and yet I cant stop looking at them online! I NEED HELP!
