AIRBAG DASH LIGHT STAYING ON? HELP PLEASE!
I have an 07 Ram and the airbag light is staying on. I just swapped out my cloth seats for leather tongith. I had to undo the seatbelt strap from the side of the seats and then reattached them. I dont see how that would have had any affect on the airbag light but it started to stay on after the seat swap.
I have tried to reset the computer by removing the negative battery cable and no luck. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I dont know what the issue is but any help would be great. Otherwise I guess I will take the truck into the dealership.

On my old seats I only unplugged one connector. It was the large connector on the front of the drivers side seat. That was the only connector i hooked back up on my new seats. The seats are power drivers side only, just like the cloth seats that I removed.
I am not sure what is going on. It really doesnt make sense. It was a very simple seat swap. Undo the bolts, seat belt straps, unplug the one connector and remove the seats.
Anymore ideas?

I am going to mess with it a little more tonight. However, i have an appointment at the dealership tomorrow morning.
I read online and there are a ton of people with 2005+ chrysler/dodge vehicles that have had this issue. I know i performed the seat swap, however most cases are with everything factory. I dont know if mine was coincedental in the timing, or if the seat swap did it. However, it started doing it with the old seats still in last night before the swap!
From what I have read it could be the computer needs updated, the harness, the seat pressure needs to be adjusted, etc.
